????ľa (gr) : Nous avons passe de merveilleuses vacances a Kalamitsi.
Nous etions un groupe d'amis de 7 personnes et avons decide d'organiser notre sejour a parea kalamitsi. C'etait genial...la maisonnette etait super propre avec une cuisine super bien equipee (frigo tout neuf, lave-vaisselle...etc), salles de bains avec machine a laver et changements de draps tous les 3 jours.
De plus dans le grand jardin se trouvait un grand barbeque que nous utilisions pour faire la fiesta au soir avec nos viandes. C etait tres agreable de voir comment tu deviens amis avec les voisins. De plus il y avait 2 velos dans la cour qui nous permettaient de faire nos promenades en laissant definitivement nos voitures dans le parking.
Bien entendu la plage est a 300 m et nous y allions a pieds. Je vous conseille le beach bar Cavo kalamitsi.
Monsieur Kosta et Madame Viky sont geniaux et ils vont tout faire pour que vous passiez de superbes vacances.
Peut-etre a l annee prochaine?

Tim Hatzis [26.08.2009 10:19:55] : Parea Kalamitsi... ahh ...we remember it now that we are home and wish to be back there. We have four boys (ages ranging from 2 year old - 9 year old) finding the right place to stay is quite difficult - but Parea was perfect! The beach is a short and wonderful walk through a tree lined road with pastures of cattle. The beach is lovely white diamond sand, and a mini island in swimming distance to explore with the kids. The sea is crystal azure!
The townhouses are WONDERFUL! Super clean and organized with lofty spaces. GREAT kitchen with all the amendments. In three levels there is plenty of room for a family. The bathrooms are up to par with a four star hotel. There is a large lawn area outside your doorstep for BBQ and play. The various balconies were a treasure at night with my wife with the sound of night crickets in the very old (200-300 years) olive groves.
The owners Costas and Vicky are lovely, hospitable, and create a very welcoming atmosphere for you and all the other guest in the townhouses. The kids grew very fond of them and would spent much time with them. It is really a wonderful "home away from home" and although we like to vacation in different place each summer, we are definitely heading back to Parea. Actually, now that I think about it perhaps it was not a good idea to share this "find" with others, i might not find availability next year...
